अन्नाभावान्ममोत्पन्न उपवासो बलाद्यतः । तदहं पद्मके तीर्थेस्नात्वा च लवणांभसि

annābhāvānmamotpanna upavāso balādyataḥ | tadahaṃ padmake tīrthesnātvā ca lavaṇāṃbhasi

Kerana ketiadaan makanan, puasa telah menimpa diriku tanpa dapat dielakkan. Lalu aku mandi suci di Tīrtha Padmaka, dan juga menyucikan diri dalam air masin lautan.
