Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 4
तस्मात्पूर्वेण देवेशि योजनैकेन निर्मलम् । त्रितकूपेति विख्यातं सर्वपातकनाशनम् । सर्वेषां देवि तीर्थानां यत्तत्रैव व्यवस्थितिः
tasmātpūrveṇa deveśi yojanaikena nirmalam | tritakūpeti vikhyātaṃ sarvapātakanāśanam | sarveṣāṃ devi tīrthānāṃ yattatraiva vyavasthitiḥ
Dari situ ke arah timur, wahai Dewi para dewa, pada jarak satu yojana terdapat suatu tempat yang suci lagi murni, masyhur bernama Tritakūpa, pemusnah segala dosa. Wahai Dewi, dikatakan bahawa di sanalah terkumpul dan bersemayam bersama kesaktian suci semua tīrtha.
