Transliteration

ekārṇavaṃ jagadidaṃ brahmāpaśyadaśeṣataḥ | tasminvasumatī magnā pātālatalamāgatā

Translation

Brahmā melihat seluruh jagat ini sebagai satu lautan semata-mata. Dalam banjir itu, Bumi (Vasumatī) tenggelam dan sampai ke lapisan-lapisan Pātāla.
