Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva (Īśvara) instructs Devī; the scene shifts to an eastern-quarter shrine where a dark, rain-cloud-hued aura (kālamegha) surrounds a kṣetrapāla liṅga, with boundary markers and protective symbolism.
The tīrtha-landscape is protected and sacralized by a kṣetrapāla; approaching such guardians is part of reverent pilgrimage conduct.
Kālamegha, identified as a liṅga-form kṣetrapāla within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
A directional pilgrimage instruction is given: go to Kālamegha and recognize/worship the kṣetrapāla in liṅga form.
