Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and the Naimiṣāraṇya ṛṣis (frame)
Scene: Sāmba, proud and argumentative, questions the value of saluting self-controlled sages; Nārada stands as the target of the rebuke within a sacred Prabhāsa setting.
Misusing ‘logic’ to deny reverence is portrayed as adharma; humility is not optional even before the self-controlled.
None in this verse; it is part of the Dvāravatī episode leading toward the Prabhāsa-kṣetra tīrtha narrative.
Indirectly, it discusses namaskāra and blessings; the text contextually upholds proper salutation to sages as correct conduct.
