देवेन्द्रवन्द्योद्धर मामनाथं शम्भो कृपाकारुणिकः किल त्वम् । दुःखाऽर्णवे मग्नमुमेश दीनं समुद्धर त्वं भव शंकरोऽसि
devendravandyoddhara māmanāthaṃ śambho kṛpākāruṇikaḥ kila tvam | duḥkhā'rṇave magnamumeśa dīnaṃ samuddhara tvaṃ bhava śaṃkaro'si
Wahai Śambhu, yang dihormati bahkan oleh Indra—angkatlah aku yang tiada tempat berlindung. Sesungguhnya Engkau sendiri adalah belas kasih dan rahmat. Wahai Umeśa, aku tenggelam dalam samudera duka, hina dan lemah—selamatkanlah aku, kerana Engkaulah Śaṅkara, pemberi keberkatan dan kesejahteraan.
