देव्युवाच । कथं स ब्राह्मणो भूत्वा चौररूपो नराधमः । तन्मे कथय देवेश धनदः स यथाऽभवत्
devyuvāca | kathaṃ sa brāhmaṇo bhūtvā caurarūpo narādhamaḥ | tanme kathaya deveśa dhanadaḥ sa yathā'bhavat
Dewi bersabda: Bagaimanakah brahmana itu, setelah menjadi pencuri—manusia paling hina—akhirnya menjadi Dhanada? Wahai Tuhan para dewa, ceritakanlah kepadaku bagaimana hal itu terjadi.
