Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 6

तस्मात्सर्वप्रयत्नेन केशांस्तत्र विनिक्षिपेत् । तदेव सोमनाथाग्रे कृत्वा तु द्विगुणं फलम्

tasmātsarvaprayatnena keśāṃstatra vinikṣipet | tadeva somanāthāgre kṛtvā tu dviguṇaṃ phalam

Oleh itu, dengan segala usaha hendaklah rambut diletakkan di sana; dan melakukan perbuatan itu di hadapan Somanātha menghasilkan ganjaran berlipat dua.
