अद्यप्रभृति निवृत्तः कर्मणोऽस्याहमेव च । रौद्रस्य सुनृशंसस्य साधुभिर्गर्हितस्य च । तस्मात्कथयतास्माकं निवृत्तिं चास्य कर्मणः
adyaprabhṛti nivṛttaḥ karmaṇo'syāhameva ca | raudrasya sunṛśaṃsasya sādhubhirgarhitasya ca | tasmātkathayatāsmākaṃ nivṛttiṃ cāsya karmaṇaḥ
Mulai hari ini, aku sendiri menarik diri daripada perbuatan ini—yang kejam, ganas dan tidak berperikemanusiaan, serta dikecam oleh para sādhū. Maka, ajarkanlah kepada kami cara berhenti sepenuhnya daripada perbuatan itu.
