Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (dāna-sthāna)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Pilgrims distribute cooked food, gold coins, bowls of curd, and warm blankets to brāhmaṇas and the poor near a shrine; the atmosphere is orderly and compassionate; ‘all-sin purification’ symbolized by a brightening aura around the donor.
Charity performed correctly in a sacred place becomes a powerful means of purification and dharmic restoration.
The ongoing Prabhāsa Kṣetra context (the same sanctified locale discussed in Adhyāya 273).
Give food, gold, curds, and blankets as dāna, following proper vidhāna (ritual rule).
