Transliteration

samudragāminī devi sā gaṃgā pāpanāśinī | uttāneti bhuvi khyātā nadī trailokyabhūṣaṇā

Translation

Wahai Dewi, Gaṅgā itu mengalir menuju lautan dan memusnahkan dosa. Di bumi ia masyhur sebagai ‘Uttānā’, sungai yang menghiasi tiga alam.
