तस्मात्ते गर्वसंयुक्ते कुष्ठमंगे भविष्यति । श्रुत्वा शापं ततः कन्या भयभीता तपस्विनी

tasmātte garvasaṃyukte kuṣṭhamaṃge bhaviṣyati | śrutvā śāpaṃ tataḥ kanyā bhayabhītā tapasvinī

Maka, wahai engkau yang terikat oleh kesombongan, penyakit kusta akan timbul pada tubuhmu. Mendengar sumpahan itu, sang gadis—dalam ketakutan, sebagai seorang pertapa—menjadi sangat gementar.
