mānuṣye'pyavatāre'sau staṃbhayitvā sa līlayā | prabhāvaṃ mahimānaṃ ca varddhayanmāmakaṃ hariḥ | varivasyati māṃ nityamaṃtarātmāpi me vibhuḥ
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī or the inquiring sage (contextual within Prabhāsa-māhātmya narration)
Scene: Somnātha-liṅga in Prabhāsa; Hari in human form (avatāra) offering worship—flowers, bilva, lamps—while a subtle radiance shows Hari as Śiva’s antarātman; the sea-coast and temple spire frame the scene.
The highest vision is unity: Hari and Hara mutually honor each other, and the Divine is recognized as the inner Self (antarātman).
The verse is part of the Prabhāsa Kṣetra Māhātmya, contributing to the sanctity and theological prestige of Prabhāsa.
Varivasyā (reverential worship/service) is mentioned in principle, without a specific procedural ritual.
