Gautama
Tirtha: Prabhāsa mahā-tīrtha (snāna-sthāna)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim-sage completes a ritual bath in luminous waters; he gathers water in cupped hands, mentally dedicating offerings to the Pitṛs; a path leads back toward a simple home, showing continuity between tīrtha and household rites.
A tīrtha is not only for personal purification; it becomes a bridge for ancestral upliftment when actions are dedicated to the Pitṛs with bhakti.
The ‘great tīrtha’ is within Prabhāsa-kṣetra, in the Gātramocana/Pretatīrtha narrative setting.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the tīrtha, followed by devotional acts directed toward the Pitṛs.
