यः पुनश्चान्नदानं तु तत्र कुर्यात्समाहितः । तस्यान्वयेऽपि देवेशि न प्रेतो जायते नरः
yaḥ punaścānnadānaṃ tu tatra kuryātsamāhitaḥ | tasyānvaye'pi deveśi na preto jāyate naraḥ
Dan lagi, sesiapa yang dengan minda terhimpun melakukan sedekah makanan di sana—wahai Dewi para dewa—maka dalam keturunannya pun tiada seorang pun lahir sebagai preta.
