Lindungilah aku, wahai Tuhan segala dewa—aku semakin susut, ditimpa penyakit dosa.
Candra (Soma), speaking to Rudra/Śiva (deduced from immediate context of Śiva granting a boon to Candra in following verses)
Tirtha: Somnātha at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Scene: Ātreya, weakened and penitent, kneels with folded hands before Mahādeva at Somnātha; Dakṣa’s curse is symbolized as a dark shadow or broken garland; Śiva’s compassionate gaze and protective gesture dispel the ‘sin-disease’.
Taking refuge in Śiva transforms curse and moral affliction; devotion reframes sin and suffering as healable through divine grace.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, in the Somnātha context where Soma’s deliverance is remembered.
No explicit rite is prescribed; the emphasis is on śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge) and prayer.
