तेन दृष्टस्तदा बालः प्रांगणे विचरन्प्रिये । स्मृत्वाऽहसच्चिरं कालं भाव्यर्थं प्रति नोदितः
tena dṛṣṭastadā bālaḥ prāṃgaṇe vicaranpriye | smṛtvā'hasacciraṃ kālaṃ bhāvyarthaṃ prati noditaḥ
Wahai kekasih, melihat budak itu berjalan di halaman, sang mengetahui itu teringat akan rentang masa yang panjang dan batinnya tergerak oleh apa yang bakal terjadi.
