Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 75

दक्षिणायां तु सर्वत्र बहुदेयं तथास्तु नः । एवमस्त्विति तैर्वाच्यं मूर्ध्ना ग्राह्यं च तेन तत्

dakṣiṇāyāṃ tu sarvatra bahudeyaṃ tathāstu naḥ | evamastviti tairvācyaṃ mūrdhnā grāhyaṃ ca tena tat

Dalam hal dakṣiṇā, hendaklah memberi dengan murah hati di mana-mana—semoga demikian juga bagi kami. Para pemimpin upacara hendaklah berkata, “Demikianlah adanya,” dan si pemberi menerimanya dengan kepala tertunduk penuh hormat.
