द्विहायनस्य वत्सस्य विशंत्यास्यं यथा सुखम् । तथा कुर्यात्प्रमाणेन पिण्डान्व्यासेन भाषितम्
dvihāyanasya vatsasya viśaṃtyāsyaṃ yathā sukham | tathā kuryātpramāṇena piṇḍānvyāsena bhāṣitam
Sebagaimana makanan masuk dengan selesa ke dalam mulut anak lembu berusia dua tahun, demikianlah hendaklah piṇḍa disediakan menurut sukatan yang tepat—demikian diajarkan oleh Vyāsa.
