ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि रामेश्वरमनुत्तमम् । मंकीशाद्दक्षिणे भागे आग्नेये तु कृतस्मरात् । पूर्वतस्तु सरस्वत्या बलभद्रप्रतिष्ठितम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi rāmeśvaramanuttamam | maṃkīśāddakṣiṇe bhāge āgneye tu kṛtasmarāt | pūrvatastu sarasvatyā balabhadrapratiṣṭhitam
Īśvara bersabda: Kemudian, wahai Mahādevī, hendaklah pergi ke Rāmeśvara yang tiada bandingan—terletak di selatan Maṃkīśa, di arah tenggara dari Kṛtasmarā, dan di sebelah timur Sungai Sarasvatī—yang didirikan oleh Balabhadra.
