वयमाकारितास्तेन सुताः सर्वा यशस्विनि । न त्वामाहूतवान्दक्षस्त्रपते शंकराद्यतः
vayamākāritāstena sutāḥ sarvā yaśasvini | na tvāmāhūtavāndakṣastrapate śaṃkarādyataḥ
“Wahai yang termasyhur, kami semua—puteri-puterinya—telah dijemput olehnya. Namun Dakṣa tidak menjemput engkau, kerana rasa malu dan permusuhan terhadap Śaṅkara.”
