उक्तः पितामहो गत्वा पुलस्त्येन महात्मना । सावित्री देव नायाति प्रसक्ता गृहकर्मणि
uktaḥ pitāmaho gatvā pulastyena mahātmanā | sāvitrī deva nāyāti prasaktā gṛhakarmaṇi
Lalu Pulastya yang berhati besar pergi memaklumkan kepada Pitāmaha: “Wahai dewa, Sāvitrī tidak datang—beliau sibuk dengan kerja rumah tangga.”
