एवमुक्ताऽब्रवीदेनं नाहं कुर्यां वचस्तव । तत्राहं च गमिष्यामि यत्र श्रोष्ये न च ध्वनिम्
evamuktā'bravīdenaṃ nāhaṃ kuryāṃ vacastava | tatrāhaṃ ca gamiṣyāmi yatra śroṣye na ca dhvanim
Setelah ditegur demikian, dia berkata kepadanya: “Aku tidak akan melakukan menurut kata-katamu. Aku akan pergi ke tempat yang di sana aku tidak akan mendengar walau sekelumit bunyi (tentang hal ini).”
