Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 10

ततो यज्ञागतेभ्यः स दक्षिणामददात्पुनः । ततोऽथ दक्षिणा क्षीणा दीयमाना यशस्विनि

tato yajñāgatebhyaḥ sa dakṣiṇāmadadātpunaḥ | tato'tha dakṣiṇā kṣīṇā dīyamānā yaśasvini

Kemudian baginda sekali lagi mengurniakan dakṣiṇā, iaitu hadiah suci upacara yajña, kepada mereka yang datang menghadiri yajña. Maka, wahai yang mulia, dakṣiṇā itu pun beransur-ansur susut ketika sedang dibahagikan.
