देव्युवाच । किमर्थं मां न पश्यंति दुराचारा इमे द्विजाः । विस्मयोऽयं महादेव कथयस्व प्रसादतः
devyuvāca | kimarthaṃ māṃ na paśyaṃti durācārā ime dvijāḥ | vismayo'yaṃ mahādeva kathayasva prasādataḥ
Dewi bersabda: “Atas sebab apakah para dvija yang berkelakuan buruk ini tidak melihat beta? Ini suatu keajaiban, wahai Mahādeva—katakanlah dengan rahmat-Mu.”
