निर्दग्धुकामं रोषेण सान्त्वयामास पार्वति । भास्वंतं निजया दीप्त्या निजगेहमुपागतम् । क्व संज्ञेति च पृच्छन्तं कथयामास विश्वकृत्

nirdagdhukāmaṃ roṣeṇa sāntvayāmāsa pārvati | bhāsvaṃtaṃ nijayā dīptyā nijagehamupāgatam | kva saṃjñeti ca pṛcchantaṃ kathayāmāsa viśvakṛt

Pārvatī menenangkan Kāma yang telah hangus oleh amarah. Kemudian Bhāsvān (Sang Surya), menyala dengan sinar dirinya sendiri, kembali ke kediamannya. Tatkala baginda bertanya, “Di manakah Saṃjñā?”, Viśvakṛt, sang pembentuk alam, pun menjelaskannya.
