प्राजापत्यं यदा ऋक्षं तिथौ तस्यां भवेद्यदि । सा महाकार्तिकी पुण्या देवानामपि दुर्लभा
prājāpatyaṃ yadā ṛkṣaṃ tithau tasyāṃ bhavedyadi | sā mahākārtikī puṇyā devānāmapi durlabhā
Jika pada tithi itu juga muncul asterisme Prājāpatya, maka Kārtikī itu menjadi Mahākārtikī yang paling agung dan suci—jarang sekali bahkan bagi para dewa.
