Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 74

तैः पूज्यो भगवान्देवो बालरूपी पितामहः । ये वेदाध्ययने युक्तास्तैः प्रपूज्यः पितामहः

taiḥ pūjyo bhagavāndevo bālarūpī pitāmahaḥ | ye vedādhyayane yuktāstaiḥ prapūjyaḥ pitāmahaḥ

Oleh mereka, Tuhan Yang Terpuji—Pitāmaha (Brahmā) dalam rupa kanak-kanak—hendaklah disembah. Dan oleh mereka yang tekun dalam pengajian Veda, Pitāmaha hendaklah dipuja dengan penghormatan yang istimewa.
