Type: kshetra
Scene: Īśvara narrates as the radiant devarṣi Nārada appears—vīṇā in hand—moving effortlessly through the three worlds, his fame preceding him; the scene feels like an omen before a consequential encounter.
The Purāṇas introduce divine messengers like Nārada to turn events toward dharma, testing pride and guiding beings back to sacred order.
The ongoing discourse is within Prabhāsa Kṣetra’s Māhātmya, though this verse itself sets the narrative time and character.
