दत्त्वा चार्घ्यं शिखां बद्ध्वा संस्मृत्य जलशायिनम् । कुर्याच्च प्राङ्मुखः स्नानं ततः प्रत्यङ्मुखस्तथा
dattvā cārghyaṃ śikhāṃ baddhvā saṃsmṛtya jalaśāyinam | kuryācca prāṅmukhaḥ snānaṃ tataḥ pratyaṅmukhastathā
Sesudah mempersembahkan arghya dan mengikat jambul rambut, sambil mengingati Tuhan yang bersemayam di atas perairan, hendaklah seseorang mandi menghadap timur; kemudian demikian juga menghadap barat.
