ऋषय ऊचुः । दैत्येन्द्र संशयोऽस्माकं तं त्वं छेत्तुमिहार्हसि । इयं का गोमती तत्र केनानीता महामते

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | daityendra saṃśayo'smākaṃ taṃ tvaṃ chettumihārhasi | iyaṃ kā gomatī tatra kenānītā mahāmate

Para resi berkata: Wahai raja kaum Daitya, kami mempunyai keraguan—maka engkau patut menyingkirkannya di sini. Apakah Gomātī itu di sana, dan oleh siapakah ia dibawa, wahai yang berfikiran agung?
