सूत उवाच । इति पृष्टस्तदा तैस्तु महाभागवतोऽसुरः । कथयामास विप्रेभ्यो भगवद्भक्तिसंयुतः
sūta uvāca | iti pṛṣṭastadā taistu mahābhāgavato'suraḥ | kathayāmāsa viprebhyo bhagavadbhaktisaṃyutaḥ
Sūta berkata: Demikianlah ketika ditanya oleh mereka, Asura itu—namun seorang Bhāgavata agung—penuh bhakti kepada Tuhan, lalu mulai menerangkan kepada para brāhmaṇa.
