Type: kshetra
Listener: Candraśarman
Scene: Śrī Kṛṣṇa addresses the brāhmaṇa Candraśarman with a gentle, approving expression; the brāhmaṇa holds rudrākṣa or Śaiva marks subtly, yet stands before Kṛṣṇa in Vaiṣṇava devotion—symbolizing harmonious transition.
True devotion transforms identity and orientation; Kṛṣṇa values heartfelt bhakti above prior affiliation.
Dvārakā, as the setting where Kṛṣṇa directly speaks and grants recognition to a devotee.
No specific ritual is prescribed; the verse emphasizes bhakti as the decisive spiritual qualification.
