एवमुक्त्वा द्विजश्रेष्ठो गोमतीतीरमाश्रितः । उपस्पृश्य यथान्यायं शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा
evamuktvā dvijaśreṣṭho gomatītīramāśritaḥ | upaspṛśya yathānyāyaṃ śāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā
Setelah berkata demikian, yang terbaik di antara kaum dwija pergi ke tebing Sungai Gomati dan, menurut aturan yang benar, melakukan perbuatan penyucian (seperti ācamana dan seumpamanya) sebagaimana ditetapkan oleh śāstra.
