Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 27

कौसुंभकैः कज्जलेन तांबूलेन च तोषयेत् । भक्ष्यैर्भोज्यैमोदकैश्च इक्षुभिर्मधुसर्पिभिः

kausuṃbhakaiḥ kajjalena tāṃbūlena ca toṣayet | bhakṣyairbhojyaimodakaiśca ikṣubhirmadhusarpibhiḥ

Hendaklah menyenangkan (Tuhan) dengan persembahan berwarna kausumbha (merah jingga), dengan kajjala (celak) dan tāmbūla (sirih); serta dengan makanan kunyahan dan hidangan—modaka, tebu, madu dan ghee.
