Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 45

ततो युद्धं समभवद्देवयोर्दानवैः सह । आच्छादितौ तौ ददृशुर्दैत्यैर्देवगणास्तदा

tato yuddhaṃ samabhavaddevayordānavaiḥ saha | ācchāditau tau dadṛśurdaityairdevagaṇāstadā

Kemudian tercetuslah peperangan antara dua dewa itu dengan kaum Dānava. Pada saat itu bala tentera para dewa melihat kedua-duanya tertutup dan terlindung, dikepung oleh para Daitya di sekeliling.
