मुद्गल उवाच । स्वर्गस्य ये गुणा दूत ये च दोषा प्रकीर्तिताः । तान्मे वद करिष्येऽहं श्रुत्वा वै यत्क्षमं भवेत्
mudgala uvāca | svargasya ye guṇā dūta ye ca doṣā prakīrtitāḥ | tānme vada kariṣye'haṃ śrutvā vai yatkṣamaṃ bhavet
Mudgala berkata: “Wahai utusan, khabarkan kepadaku segala keutamaan syurga dan juga cela yang disebut-sebut. Setelah mendengarnya, aku akan melakukan apa yang benar-benar wajar.”
