नाद्यापि स तृणा न्यत्ति तेनाहं शोकविक्लवा । रोद्मि व्याघ्र सुतस्नेहात्सत्येनात्मानमालभे
nādyāpi sa tṛṇā nyatti tenāhaṃ śokaviklavā | rodmi vyāghra sutasnehātsatyenātmānamālabhe
“Hingga kini dia masih belum makan rumput; sebab itu aku dilanda dukacita. Aku menangis, wahai harimau, kerana kasihku kepada anak lembuku. Demi kebenaran, aku mengikrarkan diriku (untuk kembali).”
