Munis of the kṣetra (addressing Paraśurāma)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Sages gently but firmly address Paraśurāma, who still grips his axe; their hands gesture toward letting go, emphasizing peace after fulfilled vow.
When a dharmic vow is completed, one should move from conflict to restraint; clinging to weapons sustains inner agitation.
The instruction occurs in the holy kṣetra described in Adhyāya 94 of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
No ritual action is prescribed; it is a moral injunction to relinquish the weapon after the vow is fulfilled.
