एतस्मात्कारणादस्य निग्रहोऽयं मया कृतः । मनसा न च वाक्येन न च केशव कर्मणा
etasmātkāraṇādasya nigraho'yaṃ mayā kṛtaḥ | manasā na ca vākyena na ca keśava karmaṇā
“Atas sebab itulah aku mengenakan sekatan ini ke atasnya; namun, wahai Keśava, bukan kerana niat jahat peribadi—bukan dengan fikiran, bukan dengan kata-kata, dan bukan dengan perbuatan.”
