एकविंशतिमे प्राप्ते ततश्च पितृतर्पणे । अशरीराऽभवद्वाणी खस्था पितृसमुद्भवा

ekaviṃśatime prāpte tataśca pitṛtarpaṇe | aśarīrā'bhavadvāṇī khasthā pitṛsamudbhavā

Apabila kali kedua puluh satu tiba dan dia sedang melakukan tarpaṇa kepada para Pitṛ, terdengarlah suatu suara tanpa jasad dari langit—lahir daripada roh-roh leluhur.
