यंयं काममभिध्यायञ्छुक्लाष्टम्यां नरः शुचिः । तां पूजयति सद्भक्त्या स तमाप्नोत्यसंशयम्
yaṃyaṃ kāmamabhidhyāyañchuklāṣṭamyāṃ naraḥ śuciḥ | tāṃ pūjayati sadbhaktyā sa tamāpnotyasaṃśayam
Apa jua hajat yang direnungkan oleh seorang lelaki yang suci, jika pada hari Śuklāṣṭamī (hari kelapan paruh terang) dia memuja-Nya dengan bhakti yang tulus, maka dia pasti memperoleh hajat itu tanpa ragu.
