Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 20

ततो हृष्टमना दक्षः सुताः सर्वा हिमद्युते । निवेद्यामंत्र्य तं पश्चाज्जगाम निजमंदिरम्

tato hṛṣṭamanā dakṣaḥ sutāḥ sarvā himadyute | nivedyāmaṃtrya taṃ paścājjagāma nijamaṃdiram

Kemudian Dakṣa, dengan hati yang gembira, mempersembahkan semua puterinya kepada Dia yang bercahaya sejuk bak ais (Dewa Bulan). Setelah menyembah dengan hormat dan memohon diri, beliau pun kembali ke kediamannya sendiri.
