देव्युवाच । परितुष्टास्मि ते पुत्रि वरं प्रार्थय सुव्रते । असंदिग्धं प्रदास्यामि यत्ते हृदि सदा स्थितम्
devyuvāca | parituṣṭāsmi te putri varaṃ prārthaya suvrate | asaṃdigdhaṃ pradāsyāmi yatte hṛdi sadā sthitam
Dewi bersabda: “Wahai puteriku, Aku berkenan kepadamu—wahai yang berikrar mulia. Mohonlah suatu anugerah; tanpa ragu Aku akan mengurniakan apa yang sentiasa tersimpan di hatimu.”
