Type: ghat
Listener: Rājā (pārthiva)
Scene: At dawn, pilgrims descend stone steps to a clear sacred pool/river; after bathing, they approach a Sarasvatī shrine with white flowers and lamps; the calendar marks aṣṭamī and caturdaśī as special days.
Regular tīrtha-snān and timely worship on sacred lunar days intensify merit and invite the deity’s direct blessings.
The Sarasvatī tīrtha described in Nāgarakhaṇḍa, where the goddess is said to be ‘present here’ and the local waters are called auspicious.
Daily bathing in the tīrtha’s waters and pūjā to Sarasvatī, with special observance on aṣṭamī and caturdaśī tithis.
