Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 5
न केवलं व्रतोपेताः स्त्रीसंगात्पापमाप्नुयुः । व्रतबाह्या अपि नराः सक्ताः स्त्रीषु पतंत्यधः
na kevalaṃ vratopetāḥ strīsaṃgātpāpamāpnuyuḥ | vratabāhyā api narāḥ saktāḥ strīṣu pataṃtyadhaḥ
Bukan hanya mereka yang terikat dengan vrata memperoleh dosa kerana bergaul dengan wanita; bahkan lelaki yang di luar vrata, jika terpaut pada wanita, akan jatuh ke bawah.
