अनेन प्रार्थिता कन्या मया चास्मै प्रदीयते । तत्किं निषेधयसि मां दीयमानां सुतामिमाम्

Transliteration

anena prārthitā kanyā mayā cāsmai pradīyate | tatkiṃ niṣedhayasi māṃ dīyamānāṃ sutāmimām

Translation

"Lelaki ini memohon gadis itu, dan aku menyerahkan anak perempuanku kepadanya. Mengapa pula kamu melarang aku memberikan anak perempuan yang sedang dianugerahkan ini?"
