एवमुक्तस्ततः शक्रो ब्रह्मणा सुरसंनिधौ । तथेत्युक्त्वा तु तत्कालं पापपिंडं निजं ददौ

evamuktastataḥ śakro brahmaṇā surasaṃnidhau | tathetyuktvā tu tatkālaṃ pāpapiṃḍaṃ nijaṃ dadau

Demikianlah, setelah ditegur oleh Brahmā di hadapan para dewa, Śakra (Indra) berkata, “Demikianlah,” lalu pada saat itu juga menyerahkan gumpalan dosanya sendiri (pāpapiṇḍa).
