अथासौ प्रणिपत्योच्चैः प्रोवाच द्विजसत्तमान् । जलभ्रांत्या सुरा पीता मया कुरुत निग्रहम्
athāsau praṇipatyoccaiḥ provāca dvijasattamān | jalabhrāṃtyā surā pītā mayā kuruta nigraham
Lalu dia bersujud dengan hormat dan berkata lantang kepada para brāhmaṇa yang mulia: “Kerana tersalah sangka sebagai air, aku telah meminum arak. Mohon kenakan disiplin yang sewajarnya ke atasku.”
