Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 3

तीर्थामृतावगाहेन यथा पवित्रता नृणाम् । भवद्वाक्यामृताज्जाता तथा मम न संशयः

tīrthāmṛtāvagāhena yathā pavitratā nṛṇām | bhavadvākyāmṛtājjātā tathā mama na saṃśayaḥ

Sebagaimana manusia disucikan dengan menyelam dalam air tīrtha yang bagaikan amṛta, demikian juga kesucianku lahir daripada amṛta kata-katamu; tentang hal ini aku tidak ragu sedikit pun.
